

Incline Village is on the North Shore of Lake Tahoe and is home to Diamond Peak Ski Resort. Incline Village is conveniently located with several casinos, restaurants, hotels and resorts nearby.
In the 1800's Incline Village was a lumber town that feed the Washoe Valley & Virginia City areas. By the late 1800's the logging had decimated the area and the logging had stopped. The community real got it's start in the 1950's when the Crystal Bay Development Company bought 9,000 acres and developed a planned community.
Sand Harbor is on the East Shore of Lake Tahoe just south of Incline Village. George Whittell (local real estate mogul) built his stone castle on a point south of Sand Harbor. The Whittell Castle, more commonly known as the Thunderbird Lodge, is now a National Register Historic District.
Incline Village has great recreational facilities available exclusively for residents, including private beaches, championship golf courses, Diamond Peak Ski Resort, boat launch, baseball fields, tennis courts, indoor pool, gym, steam room and meeting rooms. With more than 3,200 homes and 4,000 condos this is a very attractive area for anyone looking for Lake Tahoe real estate.
